I feel ridiculous asking this although I am unsure about which side is the front. I took the tag off of one side and I know that it is suppose to indicate that is the back but the stock piece is pointier and has the invisible line in the center in this location, not to mention the hair seems thinner. It looks wider and more circular in the front if you go by where the tag was. The crown in almost center which is why I can not use that to determine. I would assume that the almost invisible lines that come to a vertex would indicate an rough idea where the crown would be and that the lines also help show ventilation. The other piece I got the front was obvious because it was a A curve, this is a C. Please help before I cut backwards. Im guessing I should just not trust what seems to be logical and say the tag is correct but I wanted some reassurance.
don't feel silly....I had this same issue with a stock piece...the threads didn't indicate front to back as they sometimes do.
just hold the piece up to the light and you should see where the hair in ventilated from forming a crown area.
that will be the back.
so don't feel silly, we have all been there. LOL
