I'm having so much trouble with attaching. It's my first unit and it still has very long hair. How do you avoid that the hair gets glued under the lace??

I tried to use clips and elastics etc but I can't get it right!! Can someone explain how to clip the hair up so t hat it's not in the way in detail?? Or show me a youtube video or something??

before attempting to attach the front slightly wet it and give it a real light spritz of hairspray. this keeps all the hair back until i can get the front down.
