SFS vs FRENCH questions (and more)

Got some short questions here that came up reading the other threads, but as I don't wanna "shred" them, I'd love to start a new thread for this.

Question 1:
Coming from another company (where they sold transparent #18 as they called it), I now wonder whether both SFS and French are available in transparent or whether this is only true for French. What is the "standard colour" for SFS if you don't specify it explicitely in your order?

Question 2:
I know some companies sell e.g. skin pieces with SFS front for best undetectability. Since the new thinskin has come up, has anyone here ever thought about turning this idea "inside out", i.e. all-SFS but (not PSB but!!!) thinskin alover the entire perimeter?? If (the new) thinskin is really as undetectable as some people said this could join both world's benefits in inivisibility closer together then ever before. What do you think?

Question 3:
Drowned a bit in another thread, so I push it upwards again here: As I wanna have my unit lying really tight on my scalp, should I make the template slightly smaller than the shaved area? If yes, how much? Further, if yes, are there different answers for SFS, French etc.? It that (smaller template) neccessary at all for all-lace units or should I rather go and simply trim back and side lace parts if needed?

I'm looking forward to your kind replies as usual.
TL rockz!

Transparent is used, We use Transparent for Swiss & French and a brown French for coloured customers, There is no #18 anymore for us
To put it simply, You can have SFS or French in transparent and French in Brown, Nothing else, Yes there maybe a little variation to the look and feel at times but its nothing old or new.

I have all the above and when I get chance I will post photos off the head so everyone can see.

There is no absolute answer as yes you can leave it 1/16th to 1/8th
small and stretch it, Or order it to size or a little larger and cut to suit if it is all lace or shave the bald area a little also.

My advice is.. don't ever make a template smaller than the bald area!

You can cut off excess lace with a scissors, or customize your piece, but you can't grow it back!!

Get it big as possible.
