i dont think you would wanna put anything on your scalp that would eat away lace.i've only used a store brand anti perspirant and when i tried to apply glue over it, it came off in sorta chunks the glue.but i've never tried the maxim brand.thats what most people use if using deoderant.
NOBODY should be rubbing DEODORANT on their heads!!!!! It is the ANTIPERSPIRANT that you want.....so some look for a deodorant with a high content of anti perspirant in it.
think about it........a deodorant does what? masks smell. that is not what you need on your head. you need an ANTI PERSPIRANT to reduce the sweat on your scalp.
many people read posts like this and get misinformed about what to use.
If you need to use something and do not want to buy scalp protector, then purchase an ANTI PERSPIRANT....DO NOT put just a regular deodorant on your scalp.
DebbieS.
Yup, as Debbie said for sure.
Having said that though, I, myself, would never put antiperspirant on my head simply to try and get another day or two hold.
I've read plenty of posts about how maxim anti persperant deoderant is very good at stopping the sweat on the scalp. I posted a post but none of the comments seemed helpful... How do you get the maxim to work... I applied it, waited 45 minutes and went to apply the glue but the glue just pulled off the AP and sort of looked like chewing gum, pulled it off the scalp very easily... How do I get it to work?
I'm not sure what the long term effects on cognitive function would be for applying aluminum-containing products to your scalp, even when done so infrequently. Applying to the underarms is risk enough - now as for the scalp...
Just exercise your good judgement.
