wash and condistion your hair every time you shower, i know the rule is not to wash every day, this will keep the hair fresh, clean and tangle free, yes i know all of the younger guy's out there will dis agree, me being 50 and wearing sinse 1988, never had any issue's with tangling, or shedding as long as you keep the piece and your scalp clean. make sure to use (good)shampoo's and condistioner's such as paul mitchall, or purology.

HOT water tends to matt hair. try using luke warm water instead. I never use hot water on hairpieces or extensions.

Wearing a skull (or stocking) cap to bed solves the problem.

IMO the wig hair only needs water to wash it. All the 'conditioners' are pretty much a waste of time/money. If it makes you feel good then go ahead, but keep expectations low.

i disagree. your system absolutely needs conditioner. natural hair takes care of itself with the oils but your system has no way to generate oils to keep in condition.

i use a ton of conditioners on my hair. IMO it's the only way to keep it looking real.

See my most recent post dated today.

If your hair is long or longer, then you will run into that problem...contrary to what maxx says, sorry maxx, conditioners do work well, see my post...shorter hair you wont have much of a problem....longer hair, yes,

Hi friends,
Thanks for the inputs and conditioner worked well in the first attempt itself. I have increased the quantity of conditioner for conditioning and its working well.
