and I'm now realizing how totally prepared I was to do this.It went so damned good I'm in shock. Having two pieces makes this process so much easier and cuts the waiting time down to nothing and I did it all within 45 minutes. I was prepared to take 3 hours if necessary. lol Granted I probably bought every product ever mentioned on this board from tweezers to Robocut but who cares , it all works so beautifully !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I did it so well it actually looks and feels better than when I had it cut in for first time.
I'm thrilled I tell ya, I'm freaking thrilled. lol
Congrats...there is so much useable knowledge on this board...all you have to do is read...apply and then see how it works for you...and that's the beauty...all of the ins and out and anyones experience...that what makes Toplace and this board work so VERY well. Cheers....glad everything worked out!!
it went so well I may try to do my own cut in with my next order. I've been amazed at how many guys were brave enough to order and be able to do this the first time.
way to go, Bill. I'm so glad things are going so well for you. I honestly wish that everyone could have such a postiive experience as you!! You are really handleing everything remarkably well. I'm very happy for you. You will be an inspiration for many with your positive, upbeat attitude towards wearing hair. Keep up the good work and keep us all posted.

Thanks my "new best friend Debbie" it really has gone well so far but its more of a tribute to you and everyone else that contributes to this board. Just knowing I'm prepared to handle any situation that arises makes this such a rewarding experience. I was very nervous this was going to be a long learning curve experience that would take a lot of time but the pre- planning and the right tools have made this a breeze for me. Amazing how these little tips here can save you so much time and effort.
The thing is this type of hair replacement works well if you work it, Hair wearing is not for everyone but I honestly belive it can work for everyone, You only have to look at all the photos that people have posted to see what can be achieved.
Of course not everyone (me included) wants to do it, but one of the best things that one can do is changing the night that you get your wig cut in. Especially for newbies.
The reason is that when you get your wig cut in there will be lots of little hairs hanging around in the wig to to itch and get in your scalp area. Also if you take the wig off and wash it it will calm down the poofiness. I know that the wig usually looks best right after a cut in and it is counterintuitive to change it when it looks so good, but IMO you will be doing yourself a favor. Your subsequent wig attachment a day later will be even better and you will have practiced wig attachment again.
