Varying the thickness

OK, I'm FINALLY getting around to sending out my first custom order to toplace.

I was thinking about getting a variable density order with a staggered hairline, since I want maximum realism but also a thick/full hairstyle.

I'm planning on getting an 'A' curve front with 65% density at the front, 70% density just behind the very front, 75% density at the sides and back, and 80% density in the center.

Also the TL550 (SFS front, french base, poly sides) base and probably freestyle.

Any comments or suggestions on this? I'm going to high with the density? Does this sound like a good mix?

My sides and back basically haven't thinned out at all so I can pull off a thicker style.

Do you think 80% in the middle is too thick?

80 is VERY thick! I would say that 70 is a number you don't want to be going over too much.

Would 80% in the middle of the piece look unnatural with 65%-75% throughout the rest of it??

i would seriously consider 70% all the way around. i have very thick side and back hair and believe me when i tell you this, 70% is a "hellofalota" hair and honestly with my experiences so far i wouldn't get the hairline with a lower density. my reasoning for this is that the hair-line on every unit i've ever had seems to shed faster than any other area. i guess this is due to constant glue touch-ups, combing/styling, etc.. just some things to consider. your piece may start to look real undesirable if you go 80% top and 65% front -and then the front starts to shed at a faster rate then the rest of your piece..
good luck man, it's a learning process and it's better to err on the lower density side rather than the higher as too dense a piece is a dead givaway that you are wearing.

umm i got something like 65 front and 70% density for all the rest, and unless your hair cut is going to be very short.. it might be too much. I have thick hair my hair hasn't changed on the sides or back at all. But 70% is really really thick, at least mine is. I am having it thined out some more this weekend.
