Coloring a Stock Unit

I have a back-up piece that is blonde. My color is somewhere around a light brown. (I can never get it right on my orders even with a sample). I'm going to try to color it by doing a sample with a few different shades. Can anyone recommend a good product or a better way to get a match?

The only way to do it is to cut several pieces of hair off the hairpiece (The hair always comes longer anyway)and colour them with different products and see which gives the match to your colour, Remember you dont have to leave the colour on hairpiece hair as long as you would with your own natural growing hair so doinging a time test also at the same time is advisable.
