I've tried 4 different glues types so far and non of them withstood after just one shower, I've tried nx Gen, and that blue one called no tape, after I applied them and took a shower the unit just came off, does anybody know a glue that can withstand water, especialy sea water (this's my first summer wearing) . thanks

Heres my view on this subject.I swim in the ocean with my Toplace unit.
Its a SFS unit with a thin skin all the way around.I use NextGen glue and it has
never came off in the salt water and big waves! If I try this with a all lace unit
with no thin skin its on for 30 seconds at best and a few people get a good laugh.
I only use the thin skin unit at the beach.Hope this helps

did you find a solution ?

Hello,

did you find a glue, that resist water ? I had the same troubles
with my SFS, tried Oilresistant white glue & basebond...

They both did not resist a shower & my bodychemistry. The glue "migrates" during the day along the skin and made the hair greasy.

I have not tried, the strong ones, that contain toluole.

Thanks for a comment & best regards Carsten

I find its best to use the sealer spray, It sort of seals the glue and helps keep it waterproof but nothing is 100%.

Is tape 100% water proof and will that survive a shower and swimming at the beach in big waves?

Blue liner tape has held for me in every situation.

The solution for me is simple. I use NRT around the sides and either walker no shine or ST30 tape in the front and walker no shine in the back. In the front I put the tape up to about one eighth or 1/16th of an inch from the hairline, then I use Basebond (or not) for the last little bit. I shower daily (no shampoo on the wig hair, just water and I have gone swimming diving under water and the wig stayed on fine.
