Removing glue

I'm on my second Toplace piece now and never had this problem before. Probably because I've been using too much Ultra Hold on the hairline my hair has started to clump together. This makes my hair line look very thin.
Is there any way of removing the excess glue. I use the mirror slide but the glue is at the base of the hair, not in the lace.
Thanks in advance!

You will need to soak this in de-solvit or similar and then wash it out, You wont get the glue 100% completly without soaking it.
