I washed it last night using Pureology - great stuff
Just attached this morning. This SFS is holding up well, and after 3 months it still looks good, what do you think? There isn't much fraying at the hairline at all, because I took care and was gentle with this one:
Also, to illustrate the difference a camera can make, I've taken some photos with flash, and other without flash - can you see the HUGE difference? It changes everything, the colour, the density, everything looks different with the flash...
So don't believe anything you see online, cos it always looks better in person (like the photos with no flash!!)...
My favourite attachment - and it really rocks - is:
- ST30 tape for sides and back
- i-glue for front hairline
Super clean, fast, easy to attach, easy to remove, and hold is amazing. And no glue mess in the hairline because i-glue is so gentle and easy to work with
My specs for the piece.. I think it's just a regular all SFS with a flatback ventilation at the front, and all forward from crown for the rest...
The trick with making this look so natural was the low density. In fact, after 3 months of wear it's even lower now!
Looks good CC...I dont fully agree with the density thing, HOWEVER, with and without flash usually you can see scalp whereas in real live world, you usually cannot. It does seem to be losing some density, and if it was seen in RL some may think you are starting to lose hair - lol the irony, huh!?
I like that you keep the same style, it fits you and works well. With the sides as thick as they are, and the fact you already expose front, either add some hair if you plan on keeping it longer, or I suppose you will be getting a new one soon, if you dont already have one inbackup.
Not saying, OMG it looks aweful, onthe contrary, looks great, but may want to get a new one soon, or added hair...as im sure its fine now.
THe one thing I must say, is that the density issue is a two edged sword, at least, to me. One one hand, for laces which are knotted anyway, the higher density seem to hold some more realism (not too high, but +/- 70%) but also seems to feel thicker than the side hair, so transition can be a problem. Whereas, with lighter densities, under 65 or so, it does lose density, making the hair even more sparse, but the feel seems to feel alot closer to the sides hair...
I think the best ones are the 70 or so density on skins, but then again, you run into the skin issues...even with a lace front or perimeter to combat some issues, you run into the join issue where the hairs react differently, two different materials and two different techniques - knots and injection.
Anyway, looks great looks like your real hair, but to me, I think a new one is coming due :D
HAHA MR BURNS. you trickster....cruising the winding roads with the wind in my face . and the windowsof my celica open..cheers looks good..your hair

I experienced with several lace units over the past several months including some from another company and for those who can afford to have a full head of hair, it looks to me that the 'prime' look of a lace unit is with a density of between 65 and 70.
Of course some people will have to go outside of this range for natural and comprehensive reasons but I personally find that a 65% to 70% density gets the very best out of a lace unit.
Thanks for the feedback guys. Yes I agree, a lot of the time SFS or #64 looks best with 65 to 70, and that was what I wanted. But the piece came back with a little lower density than I'd wanted but I said "lets give this a try" anyway. And I was pleasantly surprised to find it looked more realistic than ever, and flows very nicely.
I have no idea what the density is, because I sent it back to BA for more density when I first got it, so I would say initially it was 50%, and the factory then bumped it up to 55 or 60%, something like that. It still seemed to low, but I just wanted to wear it at that point so I did
It seems to shed a lot, yet even after all the shedding, the "look" of the unit is the same, and it still looks quite thick around the front and on top - so I'm still happy with the density.
I have another piece ready to go which has about 70+ density, and it looks very full - just need to cut it in. I will post photos as soon as I do that.
I've also paid in for another 4 units, which I will have to create templates for soon because I want them to be up to date - any advice on:
- what style should I got for
- should I get some blonde highlights
- density
- grey %
Colin theres many wearers on here but I say hands down u are the top..with the amount of sides you have you pull off wearing better than anyone ive seen.
