I'm thinking of trying an I-lace because i want longer lifespan.

I normally have the style comb forward with a spikey front.

Is this possible with the I-lace, exposing the front hairline or wil the base become too visible?

From personal experience I'd recommend going with Ilace with a 1 inch SFS front.

The all Ilace to the hairline is great for comb down styles but I think you may be risking the edge becoming visible under certain conditions with a spikey combed back style. It would need to be glued down perfectly 100% of the time, and even then I'm not sure I'd like to guarantee you wouldn't have visibility issues.

On the other hand SFS front with the rest Ilace presents the best of both worlds.
