For those of you in perhaps a tropical climate or those who do not have air conditioning in the summer months.. anyone in a situation who will have to attach their system in a hot humid setting where u are sweating.. I think hair systems wont be for you.
I tried to attach today in my gfs hot friggin bathroom and was sweating a little bit. could not attach it. The BLUE LINER tape one of the strongest tapes just came right off like there wasnt even any glue there. If i had to attach like this all the time in a hot place.. i would throw the fkn thing out and shave my head.. no joke.
once the adhesives stick and dry.. its fine to sweat.. but if ur gonna sweat and attach even just SLIGHTLY.. ur screwed
It's actually not the climate that prevents us to attach but how our body reacts to it and yes sweating of the scalp makes most attachments a failure.
Some people react to hot and humid weather quite well and our system can even get used to it. Also in some instances our body can sweat a lot but if our head/scalp stay dry it's ok.
I was in Africa in a hot place for several weeks last year and the first 3 days my head did sweat in an unusual way and I started to worry for my 1st attachment there that was upcoming but on the 4th day and for the reminder of the trip, my body got used to the climate and I was back to normal, very little sweating.
There is also the stress factor... if an attachment has to be done in a gf's bathroom right after a shower without giving a chance to the humidity to get out, it's trouble.
I also noticed that after a shower in summertime, our body gets a reaction right after we dry ourselves, we sweat a bit but briefly. When we can recognize this and wait it out, we are in prime time for a good attachment!

hi no one has only skin and sweats more then i do. when getting out of shower .use 99%. on head the trick is to remove all oils from scalp. tape is very good in hot humid weather...sometimes the tape dont work the forst time clean and repaet and it will work..if i can use blue tape in front and non residue or poly back and sides in hot humid fla. and pi ...no worry. i would worry about glues.

I never had a problem with the full cap when I was staying in steamy Mindanao - 3 degrees off the Equator and humid as hell. Mind you it was all lace, don't think I'd want to try it with all psb for too long.
same here, any bit of sweating and it's not going to go on for me. got to attach it in front of the air condistioner, with a mirror in one hand and a bible in the other(praying)it's going to stay down! lol guyc

LOL, yeah i usually dont have a problem. but I can tell that if i cant get myself to stop sweating, im finished lol. The more nervous i was getting the more i was sweating. and it got to the point that my sweat worked better then 200 percent alcohol.
been there man. I crank up the AC or have a fan blowing. If you get nervous and sweat more, take a minute then try again.
I might wipe down my scalp with a towel and also as I am attaching use a hairdryer - I attach this way anyway. Each piece just blow the dryer on it, even with heat itll should evaporate the moisture and help with the adhesive. do it piece by piece with tape or even glue until its all down and run the hairdryer over it.
Do the same with the dryer as you attach piece by piece to get the moisture. You can even lay down the piece gently and take a minute to stop sweating and go back to it.
Sucks, but works.
ST still the best for it, cant stand blue liner unless im out of the ST, or any other tape I can stand, especially the lesser ones, harder time getting them on than the strong ones.
yeah i like the blue tape. looks the best for me in the front especially when u use that stretching technique. clean up after four or five days for me is easy too and it holds like nails. i guess its to each his own type deal.
