When BA told me i'd be happpy with the pieces he is sending me, i didnt know what i was in for. He sent me his own pieces, ones that he uses.
Man, from now on, i'm ordering BA's units!!
BA, you sent me two, one all lace and one with a ultra skin base and nly sfs lace in front, with blonde streaks.
They are awesome!!! I cut the skin one in and i absolutely am shocked.
1. the hair flows like NORMAL hair,
2.not one bloody knot in the whole thing
3. no idea what vent or style u have it but its bloody perfect mate.
4. the blode highlights are out of this world!!
5. right in the corner of both temples, there seems to be just the right amount of density to make it perfect, (if u know what i mean) no thickness, yet the piece is not thin at all.
6.the way u shapes the front and all around the unit is so perfect, it makes it a breeze to place tape.
BA, PLEASE PLEASE remember the specs for the skin unit u sent me, i want all my units from now on like that one mate.
And i thought i was in wig heaven with my stocks, man ordering BAs pieces is tops! bloody awesome!!
Sam

Jamie I dont know if you are a newbie or not but i remember when i was a newbie. If i had received a 'perfect' piece then, it still doesnt erase the fact that newbies have a learning curve to get through. In terms of gluing, attaching, getting the style you like and TWEAKING, which in my opinion is the most important, newbies need to be patient. It takes time. Its not rocket science, but its not ABC either. Learn as much as you can from the pros on here. I have learnt so much and still learn new tips all the time.
Yes Sam I am a newbie. I have not seen a real hairpiece before yet. I have ordered a customized piece frmo John, and a stock from BA. All yet to arrive.
You piece looks real great, blended very nicely and matches your eyebrows! Thats the style I love to achieve.

Thats looks great Sam! Definitely the best I've ever seen on you! You won't believe this but I accidently stumbled across a way to make the blocked out parts of your face vanish & reveal your complete original pic. lol!
It's seeing Sesster's work here on this forum with stock units that gave me the motivation and interest to also grab the scissors and start adjusting my all-lace units so that I can start creating realistic recessions on me. And I now love doing it.
It could be that I will also be going with stock units only. Adjusting my units shape the way I want and whenever I want brings my feeling of freedom to a new high level.

Your pics look great. Some of the best I've ever seen on this forum. I have a question as someone who has never worn and has never met anyone that I knew was wearing a lace piece. Looking at your pics, if I saw you somewhere, the thought would not even go through my mind that you wear. What I want to know is, when you have it glued on correctly and all, can you see the lace when you look at it close up? I think alot of non-wearing people who see these pics have a hard time believing the lace just disappears on the skin. Can you faintly see it? Under certain lighting, like bright sunlight, does it become visable to some extent?
I am wondering. I have not shave my hair. How do I cut the piece to exactly fit my thinning areas? Shave first, or glue the hairs with Got2b glue first, ....?
Streaks arent really for me, mainly because its not that popular where i live. However.. I do like the look of yours. it fits you. and something about streaks really seems to make the system look more "real". I dont think people associate streaks with hairpieces.
Boris, the lace does disappear if you glue it down well. If lace were to show, the most frequent place would be the hairline, and that wold be because you didn't attach properly. And even wen the lace is not 100% attached properly, its not that easy to detect it, especially when people dont even know what to look for!
Bobby to be honest i like both, bas and mine.
I dont know if BA bleached the knots himself, or if the hair was all blonde to start with, but its perfect.
Sam...I know you have considered a 3/4 or full cap recently. How do you think you would like the thin skin unit for a full cap? The hairline that starts at the top of the temple and reaches down to the sideburns is my main concern. It's tough to get that area to look perfect, especially with short hair. Thanks!
