does anyone know what lace or skin bases look like when you're wearing them under blacklights?

no problem with lace. I can't asnwer about skin bases. However, I was planning to bring a blacklight to the convention, so we can settle this.

I think I once read on here that all the materials have been tested and look fine under black light. That means they will not glow.

...

However, in office lighting, or other lighting, the colors might not match as well as they do in other lighting. It takes some doing for a dye to match a color exactly in every type of lighting. But even if they notice the color hue is a bit off, they won't know for sure as long as it is close and you apply it well.

My hair piece looked good indoors. I don't know how it looked outdoors, but no one ever looked.

I have a lighted makeup mirror that has several different lighting settings: "home", "day", "evening", and "office".

My Swiss/french pieces dont glow under blacklights . However I have found that white glue tends to glow under blacklights. Ultrahold is fine. I have'nt tried tape under blacklights though.

Iglue (a white glue) is fine under blacklight. Or at least under the kind of blacklight that you can buy for home use and screws into a normal bulb socket. (I dunno yet about special club lighting.)

iglue glows under club black lights. However it depends on the hair density, the amount of hairline exposed and how close you are to the light.
