Question about Crown Bald Spot

I'm relatively new to the idea of wearing. I've been purusing this site for a while and I'm getting closer to deciding to go through with it. But I wanted a little advice on the best way to approach my particular situation. I pretty much just have a bald spot on my crown with relatively thick hair toward the front. Right now I just want a piece to cover the bald spot. I work out almost daily, so sweat is definitely a consideration. So my questions are this:

1. Does that strategy work well?

2. What is the best base for my situation?

3. What type of hair pattern should I get?

4. Any other advice for my situation?

Thanks in advance for any info. I appreciate it.

You're lucky in that you've got one of the easiest hair problems to fix--not frontal hairline issues to deal with. Alot of people on this forum would like to be in your shoes. Go with a partial to just cover the bald spot. You can't go wrong with a French lace base--it's strong and undetectable. When you make a template you can draw in the direction of the hair on the template just like you'd like it and the factory will follow it.
