All of the following test were done with careful shampoos and hot showers virtually every day:
(1) Pro Flex No Shine Mini-Tabs: Lasted for a few hours. (It was a very hot and sweaty day, but then again so were many other days later.)
(2) Three-year-old half-evaporated iGlue: Worked great for a week. Became a bit gummy on the last day. Clean up not a problem.
(3) ST-30: Lasted two weeks. Needed to have an occasional piece of tape spliced in as a touch-up. Sometimes a some hair would get folded under the tape and stuck there (nothing major). Over-all, very good experience. Haven't yet mastered getting an undetectable edge, though. Clean up was very easy.
(4) New iGlue: Lasted only a day or two. Maybe if I let it sit around with the cap off for a while it will age gracefully.
(5) USA Tape: Worked great for two days, but then I went for a monthly maintenance, and it was removed, so didn't get to do a longer test.
(6) Perma Rite #15 glue: Lasted for 16 days, and was still going strong. Resulted in virtually undetectable edges to touch. Only removed attachment so as to shave scalp.
The Perma Rite did need a couple of touch-ups. After a week, one side lifted and needed a touch-up. A couple of days later it needed another. This time I did the touch-up with Coolpiece Oil Resistant White Glue -- that held it for the duration.
The other touch-up was required due to a spot of whiteness appearing on the front lace on day 14 after a hot shower. I cleaned off the white area with some 99% and a piece of glossy magazine. This took a few minutes. The front lace never lifted the entire 16 days.
Clean-up of unit was doable with only 99% and mirror slide. Clean-up of head was pretty goopy.
The winners so far: Perma Rite #15 and ST-30 are clearly in the lead.
Next up for future experiments: Longer test of USA Tape and full-head test of Coolpiece glue.
We're to understand your definitive test on the new "Perma #15" is completed then Darius?
And since it's amongst the top 2 attachment winners in your assessment, the question still remains; for interested board members, how does one get a hold on a tube and sample it?
Thank you for takin' the time to do all them tests.

Well, it seemed pretty definitive. It seems to have lived completely up to the hype for it given to me by my stylist, and consequently, it would seem to be in the very top tiers of glue.

Unfortunately, I don't know of a mail-order source for it. I'll keep working on trying to find one. Let's lobby Debbie to carry it!

You're very welcome!
it may just be the spark that ignites that
'can do' moment in the brain when they realize
there may be a better product or other options they
can try.
Unfortunately, it seems to be impossible to make any definitive claims in this game. Some people get two weeks out of the Pro Flex tabs. Maybe I would have if the tape had had time to set before a 94-degree sweat set it. I'll probably try it again, when it's cooler, just to see.
Everyone's body chemistry seems to be a bit different, which is why the one-size-fits-all approach recommended by some other people here may turn out to be bad for you.
From the data I have at hand, though, it seems that most people who try ST-30 and/or Prima Rite #15 seem to end up doing well with them.

that shows you are getting smart with this, and not rushing into judgment. If you happen to help us get this glue and it turns out to be a forum favorite. Then i guess those who might find you a little excessive.. might just have to hey thanks darius! u never know!
Old heads like myself will also tell you, Glues and Tapes can start off giving great holds then for some chemistry explanation they no longer hold as well, Tight Grip and Basebond being a good example for me personally. Like Xeon said its very difficult to give a 100% accurate assement as it WILL vary. I honestly wish everyone could get the hold from ST30 tape I do, But it just aint so.
i just wana ask where you got the Perma Rite Glue? and also, hows the cleanup going? do you do excessive mirror slide to make sure the glue are cleaned off?
I got the glue from my stylist. Debbie said she would check to see whether she can get it, but it's usually only sold to salons. If you have a stylist, you can probably get if from him or her.
Be sure to make sure it's "#15". Not any ol' Perma Rite will do.
Also, YMMV, as everyone's body chemistry is different.
After 16 days there was some glue on the lace, but it was removable via mirror slides + 99%. I didn't need to use Pure or De-Solv-It. Cleanup of my head was kind of messy, but it always is if you use three coats of glue.
