Guys, i decided to go with a full cap and made my template of liquid latex.
How do you think is it good already or i should fix something?
May be there is something wrog with it, what i can't see?
Is it considered as a full cap or 3/4 cap?

Yes if you are leaving some of your hair to blend with.

Thats full cap there.

Regards BA.

How old are you?

That's a very full hairline, but you look like you are younger so it might work for you...

Also it looks to be cut pretty high and back above the ear on the right side. If you are doing a poly base you want to try to get it right on (compensating to allow you to stretch it a bit), but if it's lace I would make the template a little bigger in non key areas such as above the ears and the back, so you can simply trim off excess if it's too big. You can always cut some off very easily with lace, but it's not easy to add more on.

Another suggestion that I am going to implement on my next lace piece is that you go ahead and build the template to run straight across the top of the ears, then come back in and pluck the hairs to get the "arch", leaving the lace running straight across. It's much easier to tape or glue a straight line, and that area is by far the least critical place on a full cap.

Oh yea....and build in some sideburns!

It doesn't cost any more, and you probably won't want to use them, but again, simply cut off what you don't need. Put them to the side cause you never know how they might come in handy.....

I think the key is if he intends to use some of his own hair, If so yes that will work, If not like Jrob said you would be best building in sideburns and lowering the template accordingly.

I agree with BA and JRob. By the way, how did you make that template using liquid latex? And where do you buy it?

The front hair line seems a little low to me, hard to say for sure just looking at the template. I like the liquid latex idea, it's been mentioned but haven't seen it done. Please share your technique for doing this.

Agreed with JRob...the right ear needs to be lowered a little. I would suggest sfs for the temple points.

You can go to www.liquidlatex.com to get the latex and see the different applications.

JRob, i am 19.

Dino, i bought it on eBay.

Wesb, there is no special technique, i just aplly coat of liquid latex and wait until it dries, then aply another coat etc.

Guys, i am going to leave my nape area and sideburns.
Does area above ear really matters? Yes, it's too high but it'll be hidden by hair. Or there's something i don't know about? I am asking about it, because it's really hard to make this template bigger.

how many coats of latex are needed to get a durable template?

given that you are so young, i think the hairline is fine, even good. as far as sides and nape, yes it will be covered by hair. but i doubt it will look as good if you don't have hair "coming out" of your lower sides. the nape too, although there are some advantages to attachment without that extra base material.

At 19 you are fine with that hairline wince it is a full cap.

Hey, on your template I noticed the first pic you had marked an arch but not cut it. If you are going with #64 lace THAT is how your template should look. Let them build it STRAIGHT ACROSS like that, then when you get the piece start by plucking back the hairs individually in an arch above the ear. In non critical areas like that when ordering a lace base make the base larger and customize it yourself, especially if this is your first order. You can then leave the lace straight making it easier to glue or tape, or if you get shine or have any other problems you can simply cut it off.

I need to try the liquid latex stuff again. I must not have gotten enough coats on cause it didn't work for me at all. It looks like you nailed it though. One thing to remember is that the latex shrinks by about 3%, which can be good since that will allow you "stretch room" if you built the template to exact size.
