Can you just go to a great clips or fantastic sams and get the hair cut? Would they take you with all the hair?? I supposed they would. Has anyone done this and did they cut it ok.

One usually wants to cut a hairpiece a bit unevenly so any transition between the texture and/or color of the unit hair isn't a straight line. I.e., the difference is less noticeable if it's ragged rather than straight.
This would be for a cut-in. Perhaps you could get a maintenance haircut at one of these places, but you'd have to tell them and they'd have to clip up your hair, and you'd look a bit funny I imagine sitting with your hair clipped up like that. And they might make a few accidental snips here and there, and you may never get the same person twice, so you'd have to explain the situation to somone new over and over.
Coolpiece in their FAQ, I think recommends taking the unit off and going to a barber and just asking them for a normal cut. And then going home and reapplying the unit. I dunno how that works out. Except if anyone comes into the shop who knows you, then you're busted.
I used to go to Kathy at Creative Expressions.
She is in the northwest suburbs, the town of McHenry.
Her address is 665 Ridgeview Drive.
Phone number is 815-759-0329.
It's okay to tell her Tina told you about her - she knows I use Toplace now, but I still see her on ocassion.
