I have uses scissors in the past to cut excess lace off of new hair piece. Does anyone have any suggestions on what else would work to improve a better edge?

Thanks

Use a sharp x-acto knife instead of scissors.

The trick is to create tension on the base material without putting any tension on the hair. It's hard to describe, but if you can get the base material stretched between your fingers with no hair in the way, you will get a nice clean cut without chopping up the hair.

A pair of small pointed scissors has always worked extremely well for me. I get a very precise and clean cut with them. The key is to hold the piece in front of a background that will contrast with the lace (so you can see it easily) and to comb the hair out of the way (just wet it).

I'm curious as to what problem you guys are experiencing when cutting lace with scissors ?

Regards
