| Ok I know I have seen a lot of posts where some people are finding it hard to tape down an all lace piece because of the difficulty in removing the backing which I agree is pretty difficult on a lace piece. However I found a way that works EVERY time and does not require any alcohol or extra time waiting. The way that works for me is take a small piece of tape and stick part of it to any smooth surface and remove a little bit of the backing..not all just a little bit. This is very easy because the backing comes off quick on any smooth surface (I use the surface of my scissors) Then take that and stick it on the lace...now that you already have a little bit of the backing raised you just need to peel the rest which comes off like butter. You see the hardest part of using tape on lace is initially getting the first bit of backing off but this method works every time and the best part is that you only have to do it once because if you overlap the tape it comes off like nothing. I remember trying to spend 10 minutes in initially getting even one piece of tape to stick to the lace but this method works wonders. For those of you with any skin material you don't have to worry because tape works great for them.
