I'm happy to announce that my website www.TheHairBaron.com is now open for business, and I am currently filling the first orders for the Blue Max Climate Control Serum.
For a limited time Toplace forum members can order Blue Max CCS at 20% off (regular price is $17.45). You can also take advantage of FREE shipping when you order 2 or more bottles.
For those of you who don't know, Blue Max CCS is a silicone based hair "sealer" that contains sunscreen, along with several natural oils that are natures equivalent of sebum, which your body produces to protect your own growing hair.
Here are a few benefits of using Blue Max CCS:
- Blue Max CCS was formulated first and foremost to act as a protective barrier, allowing processed hair to retain moisture for a longer period of time. Your hair will look and feel more natural.
- Blue Max CCS contains sunscreen which helps prevent fading and "red tones".
- The natural oils in Blue Max CCS were chosen because their chemical composition is very similar to sebum. They infuse the hair with a small amount of oil, much as your body does with your natural growing hair.
- When hairpiece hair is ventilated, it causes the cuticles to point in opposite directions, making tangling inevitable. Since Blue Max CCS seals the cuticle, you will notice less matting and tangling of the hair. Less tangling and matting means less damage to the hair when combing and styling.
- Blue Max CCS helps to extend the life of your hairpiece by preventing the hair from becoming brittle, thus reducing breakage.
Hesitant to take the chance that this product isn't going to work for you? No worries. If it doesn't work for you, send it back for a full refund. I'm confident that this product will help thousands of hairwearers alleviate dry, faded, tangled, and matted hair.
If you do wish to order more than one bottle to take advantage of the free shipping offer, please email me as the website is not yet capable of reflecting the discount.
Special thanks to BA and everyone who attended the Windsor convention! Please feel free to email me with any feedback you have on the product.

I tried it twice and I was already biased towards it because JRob said that it has a protection against the sun in it but what was important to me is the 'texture' of the product, I was hoping to be able to just put a bit on my hair while it's wet and have it to work like a light gel or something at the same time and..............................
it's exactly what happened. So I like it.
JRob you already have my email, send me the instructions on how to pay you for 2 bottles !

Thanks guys.
Hans- if you have an existing gel or wax that you like, try adding one drop of the serum directly to the hair product before you apply. I use wax all the time, and sometimes gel, and this has proven to be VERY effective. Plus, how long will a bottle of this stuff last using it one drop at a time? A LOOOOONG time!

I have received many orders and inquiries from people from outside the US. I wasn't quite prepared for this much international interest, but I am researching options today and will post them as soon as I know the deal.
Unfortunately I probably won't be able to offer the free shipping outside the US, but let me see what I can come up with and I will let everyone know.
I put Blue Max on 1 side of my head after my shower and once it was worked in and my hair was dry I could see the difference. I almost needed no product on the blue max side at all. I just use a little wax or gel for spikes in the front for the new hair style Debbie gave me. I like the fact I don't need conditioner either because it weighs my fine hair down to much as well. My real hair and my piece hair look and feel almost the same so no more issues with trying to blend my fine hair with thicker remmy hair. I will have this hair game down to shampoo, blue max,wax for spikes and thats it. I only need 5 min now for my hair at 5:30 am to look good.
Blue Max will save me $ on hair products and time with controlling my bedhead in the am.
Ok, shipping and handling to Canada is going to be $11.95, or $6 if you buy two or more.
All other international orders will be $14.95, or $7.50 for two or more bottles.
The site isn't set up to reflect this yet, so if you are ordering from overseas you can paypal directly to JRob@TheHairBaron.com. If you need an exact total (with the discount it comes out to $13.96 per bottle + S&H) email me and I will get back with you ASAP.
I hope to have the Blue Max Revitalizing Spray ready for purchase within the next couple of weeks.
Please send me any and all feedback on the products. I know they have the potential to help a lot of people, and in the hairwearing game it's all about experimentation, so if you find a way to use the product that works well for you let me know so we can maximize that potential.
This is the night of Day 5 of my first attachment with this new all SFS straight hair, piece.
I washed the hair on my head under my shower yesterday with just water. The hair went a little flat.. and I had to work at it at bit to get it to poof back up. I expected this as it's just one of the things that happens once a piece settles in. This poof ordeal seems to be extended at least a few days longer than usual due to the blue max stuff. I also noticed more than ever a hat does a lot more damage that people may think. Put a hat on my head just to to run to the store last night. So, had it on for maybe one hour.. and took it off.. really had to work with the hair and blue max to get it to poof back up.. But, today was decent hairday.. other that some fly away hairs since I wear a shorter style.
haha....most people want to get rid of the "poof".
Yea, the piece settles down a lot over the course of a week. I wouldn't say that the Blue Max Serum gives the hair "body" or "poof", but it does definitely help the hair to move and lay more naturally.
I love styling products, so I have to take a break from my usual routine to test how the products react without wax or gel, but in my testing with hair that is in fairly bad shape (it wasn't the greatest to begin with and I had to lighten it a couple of shades which really took its toll) I learned that I actually CAN go out without styling product if I use the serum, since the hair no longer looks like a pile of dried grass, and it "flows" like growing hair would.
I don't notice any issues with wearing a hat, other than the fact that it does cause me to scratch more and I get balding patches because of it. Definitely haven't noticed any matting issues or shedding directly from the hat though.
Don't get me wrong.. I hate the poof too.. But, I believe I can deal with it for the most part. Also, I've had I-laces in the past and it was super poofy, and irritated my scalp. So, I can't wear those anyway..
I've been trying, instead of using my fingernail to scratch my head.. to just use my finger and rub on the itchy spots. Don't know if that will help or not, as I never seem to see hair coming out after scratching.
Yea.. I noticed that I scratch a lot.. and it does create pre-mature balding patches on the piece. I thought it was b/c I was keeping the piece on too long. But, I also think a lot of my problems are due to wearing a hat, and the hair getting smooshed down into the glue when it starts to break down after 4 days or so.
Usually, I still have enough hair to cover up the balding patches and hammer the hair down with real stiff cement like paste, lol.
