I did a change this morning & had some residue left, I went a little too long between changing tape (ST-30) & plus it's been hotter here lately. Anyways I didn't really think about it before but I know some people use top guns to clean there pieces & I thought, what about my spray bottle? So I gave it a try, filled it with just hot water & adjusted it to the strongest single stream spray & it works really well! I had pre-soaked in some orange citrus dissolvent though before hand so i know that would have helped it. I just put it in the sink & sprayed from in & then out to the edge whilst turning the piece around. I was very pleased with the result. Another positive thing is it gives your wrists & for-arms a little work out! hehe!Very cheap alternative to the top gun I think & It's the stream is not too powerful to wreck or fray the lace.

James how long did you wear the st-30 for???

It was a little over 2 weeks Mo, I usually change every 7-10 days.

Yeah I know what you mean...sometimes I get carried away with the st-30 and go for about 2 weeks...the clean up is still not bad at all though.

cannot wait to get the st30 back i miss the hold and the easy clean up. I tried supertape but unfortunately it didnt work for me.

Mo is on here, He lives close by to me and will be at the convention a week on Saturday, Den.
