I have been struggling with applying U/H to my forehead with a stick and never getting a good attachment. I find the glue to stringy and it is difficult to apply accurately without messing up my hair and forehead. I bought some sandwich bags and put one on my finger and applied the glue with my finger. I finally have a good attachment plus I had almost no excess glue to clean at the hairline after I was done. Using my finger was alot more accurate and faster plus it helps resolve the issue of the glue being stringy when you dip a stick into it as well.
I am just posting this incase it helps some one else.
If you had purchased MB's video/DVD (which should be a requirement for every newbie) you would've seen how to apply U/H without any problems and how to knock down the shine.

that is a great idea!! just throw the baggie away when finished , great tip. thanks for sharing.
I always use the popsyckle stick, which I think is what I used when I saw you at the convention...but I think I'll try your baggie idea in the salon this week. it makes alot of sense!

People look at me strange when I say I usually use my bare finger to apply glue, but there is no better way to get the feel for what you are putting on your head than to apply it with your fingertip which has some of the most sensitive nerve endings in your body.
Before I start I clean the finger with alcohol, and when I'm done I simply roll the semi dried glue up into a ball on my fingertip and pull it off with my other hand.
