*** CONVENTIONS ***

Im going to be doing them regular again, I had a E-mail from a long time customer who put it plainly

"Its your calling to do these conventions and to help others"

I thought you know what ? hes right, So going to get around The USA and do them again

New York will be a City that we will do again I am open to suggestions on other places in America,
I would like to get some feedback on were I should do them and why in that particular City because obviously I am not American and I bow to everyones better geography and knowledge of their own country.

Just bear in mind I have done, Florida,
Las Vegas,Minnesota,Chicago all ready and of course New York which will be done again.

The annual UK convention in May every year will obviously continue God Willing.

And also the conventions will always be FREE to attend
this is my way of giving a little back to those who
have always supported me.

Regards BA.

Hey BA, I would love to see one right in my state of Wisconsin. Milwaukee, Madison, or better yet, Lacrosse.
Only reason being I guess because they would be a little easier for me to get to. That, and I don't think you've ever had a convention in WI, have you?
Ok, well that last one doesn't really wash, since there are probably a lot of states you haven't had a convention in. Have one here anyway! happy.gif

I did go to the Minneapolis convention and it was fantastic!

P.S. What happened to the Link to this board on the "other" Toplace board?

Vinton

That link was deleted by John. He also deletes your post if you provide a link to this forum.

Another member wanted to know how to get here since he had been going through the link over there. I posted the link for him and John deleted it within five minutes.

Thanks Brian. I figured that was why I didn't see any posts about it over there.
I wish I knew what the heck was going on. But John isn't doing Toplace any favors by what he is doing.

Dont worry they will get the link I have E-mailed it to a bonb load of people telling them this forum has re-opened and I will send out more E-mails over the next few days to the rest.

That forum was dead anyway you had about 5 regular posters and that was it.

Probably wont do Milwaukee but Chicago is close isnt it ?

Chicago is definetly possible again as I am 1 hour flight or 5 hour drive from there so pretty close for me.

I was also thinking Dallas and Atlanta as possible venues but like I said will leave that to others to decide.

As for the link I dont know ask the moderator over there he his always keen on deleting posts, First time he deleted one of my posts was the last time he will delete one of mine.

If it dont well I will keep coming happy.gif And if we just help one newbie per convention from falling for marketing tricks and gimmicks and paying well over the odds for a toupee well its a good job well done.

My mission is to get more and more people clued up so they dont pay ridicolous money to hair companys and hair salons.

Why not choose the venue where you can fly into easiest and have the most customers close to that city? If that makes sense to you and if you need some help in figuring that if U.S. geography is not your bag email me and I can help.

I definitely think finding some of the major airline hubs for the conventions would be smartest.

I'm sure Chicago is a major hub.

God Willing :

Chicago is a certainty to happen again, Also New York, Toronto is very likely, Myrtle Beach can happen if we have enough interest in that area.

Just need to get feedback on where and who is interested, So don't be shy let me know.

Re: hubs

Just about anytime is good !

September we have our state fair, 2nd largest in the US ! Rodeos, name entertainers, exhibits, that sort of thing ! October we have our annual Ballon Festival , which just ended. Over 800 colorful hot air balloons with pilots and spectators attending from all over the US and Europe, Canada !! Its a colorful event to witness !! Weather has been gorgeous !! Mid 70's, not a cloud in the blue skies !! Winter months are mild.......but,,,, we can get a howling blizzard that blows thru quickly and usually melted in a few days!!
Spring is great but the winds can kick up strongly !! Summer months are kinda hot, but dry, so ya don't feel overly heated....with night time temperatures dropping 30 degree's for a good nights sleep !! happy.gif

Folks would really enjoy there visit here ! And the New Mexico style Mexican food is to die for !! Great stuff !! I grew up on Italian food back east.......give me NM style anyday !! happy.gif Of course I have been out here 50 years !!!

Conventions

October 18 2009, 2:05 AM

Hi BA,
Well my vote is always for you to come to Chicago!! Great airport access, plenty to do, great places to visit. Having it in Rosemont (near the airport, rather than in the downtown part of the city) makes it easy to get to. Just don't have it here in the winter!

If your objective with these conventions is to increase sales, can't you tell from the forum activity where the customers are located?

Or, if your goal is to help existing customers, then you already know where your orders are coming from, and there! Your decision is made for you.

You will always have your extreme loyal customers who will follow you wherever you go...which makes you kind of like the pied piper of hair!

Re: Conventions

Thanks Tina, It is never and I sicerely mean never to increase sales, I lose thousands of dollars doing them but I dont care as it is imperitive to me to give something back to those who have supported me and to help those who need help with this hair wearing game.

That is The Gods Honest Truth plus it gives me the opportunity to meet the people and make new friends.

Regards BA.
