Hello,
I just stumbled across this site and thought it might be a good idea to talk with other out of control women with PMDD.
I was just wondering if anyone has tried Evening Primrose Oil for relief. I absolutely have PMDD but I am afriad of anti depressants. I am taking primrose oil and really hoping that it will do the trick. My bottle says you can take 3-6 a day but I was only taking one a day. Starting yesterday I am taking 3 a day and also yesterday I started a multi vitamin. I know that calcium, vitamin b, zinc, vitamin c, and magnesium should help.
I used to think that people with PMS were over reacting. My moods are so out of control anywhere from a week to 10 days before my cycle. The best way I describe myself is this....Its as if I look back on my behavior and wonder what the heck I was even thinking. Like a person who drinks too much one day and looks back and is embarrassed by what they have said or done. I am fully aware of what I am doing when I act like this, I just don't careat the time. Then I feel awflu afterh the fact. I feel bad for my husband and kids for having to deal with all of these mood swings. Then the other 2-3 weeks of the month I am nice as can be. It's very scary. Like Jeckle and Hyde. I hope Im not the only one!
Well I would love to hear what other people go through each month and what they are doing to help themselves.
