I was seeing a therapist for my rage towards my husband, she concluded that I was bi-polar. I questioned her diagnoses b/c I always thought someone who was bi-polar had more intense and dramatic swings than the ones I have. She has stuck with her instinct and said that they can be more subtle. However I began to notice that my symptoms occured the weeks before my period, and I don't care what she says, I have PMDD. The point is that the symptoms aren't that different, but I think the timing of the symptoms are your best indicator
