I would highly suggest a second opinion. I thought/felt as if I were bipolar but it is definitely PMDD. My Psy told me that it's PMDD and I was telling her no it feels like being bipolar only it's each month... She said that's not possible for a bipolar person to have episodes that way. So I think your doctor might be wrong, there is nothing subtle about being bipolar. Who knows.. I think you shud check for second opinion.
