Hello Angela,
I have just read your post and I want to tell you how impressed I am at the way you expressed yourself.
People don't realize how important it is to make self-affirming statements like this -- to actually make them in a neutral-positive way -- it is YOU taking control of your body with your mind, not the other way around. We can either become victims of our own circumstances, or we can make our circumstances work for us.
This is probably one the most important aspects to healing the psychical and emotional damage that PMDD creates in one's life. It was something I too learned and practiced daily on my road to complete recovery and health.
Please continue these affirming statements to yourself -- tell yourself these positive statements every morning you wake up, look at yourself in the mirror, in the eyes, when you say it. It is not a crazy thing to do, it is in fact very sane and very healthy.

The more you take control in this fashion, the easier it will become, and the easier it will be to take control during the worst times.
All the best, and please continue your research! Remember ... "seek and you shall find ..."
