Thanks for the welcome and the info on oils:) It certainly hasn't been easy to follow the "no refined sugar" aspect of the nutritional guidelines---that certainly means no chocolate milkshakes from Whataburger:(
And I bought my husband a cheese cake for Father's Day---need I say more. I'm drooling...
So I am also glad to know that i can have some salt---at least the moderate amount I put in the cooking with no compulsive shaking of salt at the dinner table. I curse "NuSalt"---it ruins the taste of rice and boiled eggs.
The caffeine part of my nutritional changes hasnt bothered me as much, since I can have naturally decaffeinated orange pekoe tea with "Splenda" ( splenda contains no aspartame or saccharine). So thanks!xoxLisa:)
