Response to Re: PMDD - a living nightmare

Thanks for the support.

I'm now three days into my happy pills. My doctor put me on a brand called Cipralex - 10mg daily.

It seems to agree with me as the nausea 1 out 0f 10 women get when they are on it was barely noticeable with me.

I've decided to keep on taking the Evening Primrose Oil as well, and i'm adapting my diet to help things along.

My little one knows my pills as "Mummys Happy Medicine" and he keeps on asking me if i'm happy now. - bless him. One of my bad days really scared him and its taken me the best part of a week to convince him that mum hasn't lost the plot completely and that i still love him to bits. Now he tells me several time a day without any promting that he loves me, which is heart warmingly wonderful.

I have to see my doctor in three weeks for a check up on the progress of the medication i'm on, so fingers crossed that its going to work.
