For years now I have been been experiencing bouts of anxiety panic attacks and depression that I've Perhaps mistakenly) been directly linking to stresses triggered by work. Stress that has had me on disability and voluntary demotions to reduce work stress levels.

It wasn't until this last month that I made a direct correlation with my monthly cycle. As a result I've been reading up on PMS and PMDD and am CONVINCED that I have PMDD. My symptoms run for nearly 1 -2 weeks prior to my cycle and I literally feel like an emotional basket case having a nervous breakdown.

I have an appointment to discuss my concerns with my doctor (in another week), but I am terrified of going through another episode or two before my Dr knows and helps treat my disorder. Does anyone have any advise they can offer to help in the immediate?
