Anyway, the only natural progesterone that I know is the real thing is when it is prescribed by a doctor and labeled Pharmaceutical Grade Progesterone. Real progesterone is helpful to some women with PMDD symptoms, although it is not for everyone. I don't know anything about Prometrium.
My advice is still: exercise, stress relief, correct nutrition and supplementation with a good multi and L-Tryptophan. Cold-pressed high lignan Flax seed oil is also very beneficial as it contains the all imporant omega-3 fatty acids. Optimum is 20-80 mg per day.
