ok, i have 3 textAds regarding the music circuit.

2 things to notice:

1) my ads are for everyone, not only music related sites - well in special - , but i want everybody to know them! since it's only about "using" music and i think everybody listens to music, also the coders during work (like me)

will there be an option to say "not related to a specific circuit, display everywhere" or not (well, maybe the webmasters don't like it..)

2) since i've been a while the only one in the music circuit and had my code on my page the only ads i saw where my own. so i got 0.75 credits but spent 1 credit just to display my own ad at my own site? ain't that stupid?

displaying should work that way, that all related ADs EXCEPT MY OWN are displayed?!? - just a hint ;)

thanks and regards
quentin

1. The whole idea behind txtAds is that ads should be targeted, so if you show up in music you should exchange impressions with music sites only. If you feel Your site should be appropriate for another circuit, you can create a separate txtAd on the othe circuit (you'll have to choose on what pages to put each ad, because credits cannot be moved between circuits)

2. The reason why you spend one credit for each impression and you earn 0.75 is because 25% of impressions is reserved for the system. Not quite sure yet of what to do with them..... :-)
And yes, ads shown on your site are drawn from active advertisers having at least one credit but yourself (so your ads dont show up on your own site).

Hope you like txtAds. :-)

hi!

do i don't get it or is it you?

please have a look at the following screenshots i've made a few seconds ago: http://quentin.xsite.at/dahundhe/txtad.gif

* first, i have 58.25 credits and 28 impressions
* then i reload my page and my own ad is displayed at my own site http://quentin.xsite.at
* third, i have 29 impressions but only 57.25 credits

what i mean is that you should not let my own ads be displayed at my own website..

it's just not fair i think, do you know what i mean?

otherwhise, i would enjoy txtAD if you manage to "fix" that and i hope there will be more webmasters joining

kind regards
Quentin

This is a very important question. As for me, it's worked fine. I've never seen the ad on my own page. (Although I saw it on another late at night and it kept showing up with every click and like no one else was there.. SO frustrating.. anyway...)

You need help with this! No one's replied since you're wonderful proof there! I hope you get help.
