so we can't have caps

On my txt ad I put the title and description in all caps. Along with *-*-*-* at the start and end of title and description but it got turned back to what it was before.
Did you do this or is it a bug?

There should be no problem at all with caps. Could you mail us the exact string you entered to see if there is anything wrong with it?
