for Seasonal Flank Alopecia, could be that. If it is, it's not harmful, just cosmetic. Sunshine helps.
If it's Staph you should be able to see teeny tiny black dots under the skin. Very hard to see. Staph would more than likely be itchy so I would think SSA, especially the location SSA is on the Flanks. Good Luck.
