and see if it will make her stool harden up. don't give her any more dog food until she gets better. seems like she has stomach problem. Once you see her improve continue for another week then soak a high quality brand of dog food and give a small portion along with the rice and beef and increase gradually until she is all on dog food. I would continue to soak the dog food so it is easy for her stomach to digest until she is a few more weeks older. I have a frenchie who has stomach problem whenever he eats dry food, he'll drink lots of water and vomit and would have bad diarrhea. My vet said to soak his food and it helps him digest and no more diarrhea and he would have to eat like this for the rest of his life. He's not complaining cuz i add some shredded cheese to his food and he'll gobble it all up. hope you puppy feel better.
Also, i don't know why that vet told you you can't be present when they put her to sleep, I was present at all time when I had to have my babies put to sleep. That just sound fishy to me.
Try the cooked rice(make it like oatmeal)and the lean ground beef. it had helped my furkids when they are sick.
