luigi had a raging bladder infection & pancreatitis around easter time. he has been on the mend since then and doing great. he had his 1 month check up this week....his urine is bacteria free and no white cells, but a few crystals are there. dr. said to bring urine back in 1 month from now as long as he's still doing good at home. my question is......should he be on a special diet? if so what? ALL my boys are now ONLY getting their kibble (pedigree), some frozen green beans ( in their food and as a snack) (Luigi needs high fiber) and a sprinkle of either boiled chicken or beef...a very small sprinkle. they all have lost at least 5lbs each, which is great as they were overweight. Luigi is now 79lbs, Vito 70 lbs, and Santino 55 lbs.
doc felt he didn't need to be on a special food, but if there is something that can help prevent any future problems, i'd rather start now. i never want to see him go through any of what he did a while back. thanks in advance!
