The usual recommendation is rest and activity restriction. That means no running around, no jumping, no late-night zoomies! (lol), no getting up and down from furniture, and walks on leash only. If you don't see improvement over the next 2-3 days (although vets usually recommend a few weeks of rest), I would be concerned. If there are alot of stairs (more than 3-4) I would carry up and down for a few days, too.
