your suggestions are all being tried.
I did find that the cone is fitted as you stated but much too small. I get maybe 3cm under the edge near the neck. I think if she were not overweight and fatty in all places, especially the neck it would fit. But this doesnt!
So we going to fix that problem. For now I have made it work with taping it open to a bigger size, have strips of fleece at the edges i glued, and tied on.

I am keeping the hotspots clean and dry. Trying to catch her drink and dry the face ..(hard but trying my best). But seems like once i get one area dry another spot areas. its werid hotspots too, your typical pussy patches along with a pimple like pyoderma that busts open and leaves holes.

And the benadryl kept her a bit calmer but didnt stop her from shaking her head...so now we have something that looks like a very swollen eye or possible hematoma on the one sewn shut...
so i have now moved into the living room with my pillows and blankets and am having her sleep with me so that i can distract, and prevent her from shaking any further.
I didnt put her antibiotics...i have been trying to not jump the gun on her meds because i am learning many of the rescues are becoming resistant to so many drugs nowadays...especailly with cephlosporins- most commonly used - cephalexin..so I hesitaed until i know what i am dealing with..
fun times!

thanks again, will keep ya posted...were off to beddy bye!
And an old pic so ya can see this doll that were dealing with!
