With Fox's permission here is our style for the month of March. It's called The Fan:
The Instructions:
Pull hair into low ponytail:
Take a small portion of hair from underneath and wrap it around the ponytail elastic to cover it. Secure with a bobby pin:
Place right hand under ponytail and start wrapping hair around whole hand, using hand like a large roller:
Wrap complete length of hair around hand. Then slide hand to the right to pull all of the roll under the top portion (see picture) Secure the roll with a large metal hairbow (the thicker and longer the hair, the larger the hairbow needs to be)underneath the ponytail holder:
Then fan the sides out and secure with...bobby pin, or decorated bobby, or hair sticks or use the imagination. You will need to secure the fan at the top right and top left. Fan out enough to cover the hairbow:
I used a set of bobby pins with little flowers on them:
Have fun with this one!! After a little practice it is a quick, cute alternative to the bun and generally stays secure all day.
So lets see what yours looks like
I had a feeling some might have a problem with the term metal hairbow. Sorry, Im originally from Tennessee and we have a dialect all our own. Not sure what to call them though...metal hair fastener maybe? Anyhoo, a pic is worth a thousand words so here is a pic of a few of mine:

BTW, this is my secret to everlasting
updo's. I use these instead of bobby
pins to secure. The little ones I use
in the cheater bun. I used the med
blue one at the bottom for this style.
