So Hi everyone! Obviously I am new here, I came across the main website while trying to figure out how to do something other than flat ironing my hair to keep it from being a giant frizzy mess!

There apparently is an issue that either I and I alone have, or is not being addressed by the stylist community! lol. If I keep volume in my hair, and let the natural waves free within 15 min all I have is a giant heap of frizz. I suspect this is because with all that length tangles build up very quickly. I know its not a result of climate because in the 10 years I have had long long hair I have lived all over!

So I am wondering if anyone might be able to cast some light on this frizz issue :)

I looked over the hair categorizing system and I'll be honest, I am not sure exactly what sort I have. Terribly sorry. Plus I have dyed it and abused it a good deal and I am sure that has altered it some.

So here are some shots of my hair, heads up I am a photographer and most of the shots are sort of sexy so I'll just link rather than post the images incase anyone doesn't want to see that! (no nudity just sort of embarrassing)

My hair is very very thick, and I am not sure if its Medium or Coarse in texture, its shockingly soft for how thick it is.

natural (sorry about the black box, I didnt want anyone in my photobucket making any comments lol)

      flat ironed:

      blown dry straight:

So can anything be done with this???

I dont want to keep using the flat iron on it (though it seems ok so far) and honestly I am bored of not letting the volume of it show.

Lets get down to the nitty gritty of this. :)
