French Braid into a Bun

I'm sure a lot of you can do this a lot neater! I just learned how to french braid, so it's very messy.

Hair: All natural dark brown and silver.
Washing: Twice a week, scalp wash, with letting shampoo run through length. Condition from ears on down. Cold as I can stand it final rinse.
Shampoo/Conditioner: I have switched to organic. Aubrey's Honeysuckle Rose Shampoo and Conditioner. Nature's Gate Organics Biotin Shampoo and Conditioner.
Comb, never brush.

Your hair looks great like that. I really like how it shows of all different shades of your colour and I don't think it looks messy at all. It has an elegant romantic feeling.

Maintaining at tail bone (38") for 2009 trying to get a thicker hemline

Routine:
Daily scalp wash with CV bars followed by ACV since.
Treatment with coconut oil, aloe vera gel and deep conditioner once or twice per week.
Oiling with coconut oil when needed.

Horn combs and BBB brush.

I tried to recreate it, but so far have not been overly successful. I got a similar hairstyle with a much smaller bun and the barette sticking out. It looks o.k., but not as pretty as yours by far!
