2 braids with ribbon

this is a style that was used by medieval (mostly joung) women who had the money to buy ribbons.
since i started swordfighting and needed a helmet I am looking for a way to keep my hair out of my eyes, but because of the helmet i can't use a ponytail or bun or wathever so this is the solution:

it's quite easy to make, for questions, just ask happy.gif

A question that sometimes drives me hazy: am I or are the others crazy?

I like that one

I do this all the time. Since I don't have to wear a helmet I usually wrap the braids over my head and pin them up.

It looks really nice on you. How cool is the fact that you sword fight!!!!!!!

Recently decided to wash my hair when I feel it needs it/I can be bothered, rather than the set routine I had. Going to go back to Luch bars as soon as I've used up my current shampoo. I adore Nake repair and rescue deep conditioner! I also ACV rinse after every wash.

I only comb my hair with a wooden comb or boar bristle brush

Trying to grow out my hair back to it's natural colour. Looking at getting my hair thicker this year and much healthier!

I'd love to know just how you wrap your braids over your head? I am always looking for something new and fun to do with my hair.

I've tried this one last summer, but the ribbon was too much at the back of my head, and so it was slipping all the time :/
What type of braids have you done ?
Mine were like this :

it looks so good in your hair!
I've made simple three-strandbraids with the ribbon as the middle strand
a usefull trick is beginning with the strand at the back of your head since it keeps the ribbon in place.
i hope it doesn't slips this time wink.gifhappy.gif
