Wow! You certainly are talented! I can't even manage a straight french braid! You did a great job explaining it and I appreciate your video!

My new mantra: 2009 for hair that's divine!

Oil on ends just before combing to help with snarls, 2x a day.

Shampoo every 5 days
Experimenting with ACV, coconut oil, and honey.

Started measuring August 06, at 36.5 inches
1cCii ~ Natural Silver

I am 53 year old and I've been married for 34 years!!

July 1st 07 - Reached 40 inches
July 14 07 - Cut back to 36.5
August 3rd 08 - Reached 40 inches again.
January 1 09 Reached 43 and classic achieved! Cut for a better hemline.
April thru June 40 still. sigh...

36.5/40/Classic

Faithful to barbers - they actually trim 1/8th of an inch!!

Thanks so much! I always wondered...

how you did a nine strand.
I've done a five strand braid before but didn't understand the 'pattern' behind it, so to speak.
I'm definantly going to try it!
Thanks!

Skirt waist had to be folded over, and brother had to put his hand in the pic. Sorry.

Hair Type: 2aNii Brown with gold (on top layer) and red highlights (bottom layer).
Hair care: Sierra legacy wooden comb (I LOVE it!!!) ACV herbal rinses, Baking soda and honey shampoo recipe that I found posted on here. Oil with rosemary and lavender EO mixed in coconut oil. Try to wear hair in bun or braids. Major in the F.L.A.
Hair length: LOOKS 29-30" (curls up at bottom normally.) 31" streatched out.
Goals: My first goal has been reached!- 30" (a bit below my waist.) Now, if I can accomplish my second goal of Classic length, I'll be happy.

In my perfect world I would be able to grow my hair to my knees. But unfortunatly this is the real world. sad.gif
