Hair: All natural dark brown and silver.
Washing: Once or twice a week. Condition from ears on down. Cold as I can stand it final rinse.
Shampoo/Conditioner:Aubrey's Honeysuckle Rose Shampoo and Conditioner. Nature's Gate Organics Biotin Shampoo and Conditioner.
Wide tooth comb

Oh my goodness, I'm in love too [linked image] That hairstyle is so pretty! And it suits you so well. The pink ribbon sets off wonderfully against your hair color.

Now you are tempting me to try hair taping myself... I've seen Torrin's video, but have never had the proper incentive to do it on myself. Till now, that is happy.gif What kind of needle did you use to sew the ribbon into your hair?

washes (Alverde birke-salbei shampoo for the length)
- brushing, scritching, preening and massaging daily
- occasional S&D trims
- trimming the ends whenever they start looking funny

I actually read about it on a costuming website; I hadn't seen the video.

I used a big plastic darning needle with a blunt point and a large eye; they might be called "yarn darning needles" or something like that. I imagine you could use a metal one too, if the point was blunt enough.

I'll try to find plastic needles of that kind. I will be better off with plastic, rather than metal, if only for my peace of mind. I can be very clumsy, so plastic is much safer wink.gif

I just did that to my hair a few days ago too! But I think yours is nicer looking than mine! Mine made my face look fat! LOL

What I use:
Johnson & Johnson Baby Wash and Shampoo.
olive oil soaks once in a while.
Rosemary rinse followed by a white vinegar rise when I feel inclined to baby my hair.

Oil on ends just before combing to help with snarls, 2x a day.

Shampoo every 5 days
Experimenting with ACV, coconut oil, and honey.

Started measuring August 06, at 36.5 inches

July 1st 07 - Reached 40 inches
July 14 07 - Cut back to 36.5
August 3rd 08 - Reached 40 inches again.
January 1 09 Reached 43 and classic achieved! Cut for a better hemline.
April thru June 40 still. sigh...
