That is a scary thing to have something you feel makes you shed more than normal! Yikes. It's interesting that it seems to work really well but then if you leave it on too long it has the problems...and the smell problem too.

Does it have to be refrigorated? I wonder why it would start to get that bad smell after being left on for a while...if it doesn't need to be kept in the refrig. Not like it would go bad. That's strange.

Maybe you could e-mail them about what you suspect? Perhaps you could get your money back...

That's a shame, though..that something you really liked has seemed to start causing more than normal shedding.
