Mason Pearson brush, hardly used

I have a Mason Pearson brush, the mixed bristles (boar and nylon), popular size. After hearing so much about this brush, I saved up and finally got a killer deal online (but it was still wicked expensive!). Well, it is not any better for me than a normal boar bristle brush -- still tangles my hair even when it is combed/ brushed out before I use it! And the few times I have used it I just am not seeing any difference. So, instead of keeping it in a drawer, I am offering it up for sale or a trade, but I am not sure how to put a price on it so email me privately ( blushing_viking @ yahoo . com -- minus the spaces of course) if you are interested and we can discuss it. Also included is the "brush brush" that came with it for cleaning, if someone can please tell me where to find one locally as I really do like it for cleaning my comb and wooden brush, but it is going with the Mason Pearson brush because they go together.

thanks,

~Bryndis

35"/35"/Classic Braid; 1b/F/ii-iii
CWC or scalp wash as needed, usually every 3-4 days.
Have used Nature's Gate original formula shampoo & conditioner for years.
Trying Ida's bars and acid (lemon) rinse.
Latest experiment is adding honey and oil to the conditioner.
Playing with various oils/ butters as money allows to see what my hair likes.
Very little brushing since June!
Will update this as I go!
