These are pretty sticks, but I'd rather have longer ones. They would be good for half-ups (although they hold my big bun surprisingly well). I bought them off ebay. The pouch is discolored and reads "Mei Fa"...these sticks are at least 20 years old (supposedly). 4" long, with 3" of wearable length

I bet those would work well with my hair! Mine is shorter than your and much thinner, so the shorter stick length wouldn't be as much of an issue. So I'm interested in buying them.

Do you by chance have a better picture of the tops? I can't quite tell what the design is.

And they are soooo cute! I'll grant you, they're smaller than I expected. (Smaller than you expected too, I bet. LOL). But in my hair, they worked wonderfully!

I wore them in a half up/half down twist. It's a style that I saw on a show ages ago, where you take the top part of your hair and twist it into sort of a french twist. Then you leave the length loose. And those sticks looked just lovely in my hair. They were so small and different than anything else you see that no less than three people stopped me to comment on them.

And, btw, this was in Minnesota. You see, we're very nice people up here. But Minnesotans don't stop people to give compliments. I think they feel it might be intruding or pushy or something. So getting even one comment is rare ....... three was amazing.

I'm so glad they arrived safe and sound. And 3 compliments! Wow!
