Good weathering but I'm pretty sure that this flakpanzer had a very short lifetime
and wasn't buildt in a large number so I'd liked it even better with a less worn appearance.
But it's still a very good build!

I'd like to add that the construction also was a failure due to the fact that the FlaK was to
heavy for the PzKpFw I chassi and therefore had a small combat value. Later flakpanzers
performed better.

Still the overall results is satisfatory to me.
McCoy, you think the 20mm Flak is too heavy for the PzKpfw I? You probably haven't
seen PzKpfw I carrying 15cm (150mm) howitzer! I think that's called "Bison I"

Nice build and I agree that it would have been destroyed by the Russians before it got
as worn as this unit. Yes, there were only 24 of these made and McCoy is right that the
20mm flak was too heavy for the Panzer 1 chassis, but aint it cute.
The Tri Star kit is very high quality and quite nice to build, but some of the parts are
very fiddley to assemble, especially the minute individual link tracks that make you go
when you first open the box and see how tiny each link is!

I more or less figured that it might be that way. Although I like building models, and surely
would like to hav both more money and more time to build, I'm not sure I would want to do

ChaosWarrior, I don't mind your asking, there's no secret. "Art Instructor" has been
building models and dioramas for me for 6-7 years now. During the years he also took
other job as a schoolvan driver. But in June this year he quitted his other job (I think
because he realized that modelling job pays better). So from June onwards he's been
building models full time, for me alone! And as far as I know he's very diligent. Waking
up at six and working through late evening everyday, he has plenty of time for it. It's
been typical that he finish 4 armors and 2 dio's in just 2 weeks.

Sorry I didn't ask right away, but I was a bit confused, which I'm not any more
I guess you must have quite a collection. It's amazing and he is doing an amazing job.
With my current pace I be lucky if I do 4 kits in a year

Well, you don't have to build many kits to enjoy it. For myself it's been nearly eight
completed modells during my first year. Roughly one modell per month that I've been
building during the last year.

Well, very nicely done by Art Instructor.
My favorite is the Flakpanzer. I like the colors of it very much, it is a nice blend!
The 250 looks also very nice in ambush scheme. Nice chipping there too, but some chips
are a bit too big (in my opinion / personal taste ). Further more, the MG-wood color doesn't
look 100% realistic. But this is something I should say nothing about, because I myself
can't paint nice wood-things either
Looking forward to new/other projects . Keep posting!

Those are not MRE! MRE's were introduced in the US military in the early 1980s.
Those are first aid kit attached to the netting on the M1 helmets. I have only seen them
on 17th Airbrone Division during Operation Varsity. Incidently the unit saw the first
combat use of the M18 recoilless rifle.

เพจใหม่ยังไม่ออกนะครับ เพิ่งได้รับมาใหม่ 6 ชิ้นเย็นนี้เอง อันนี้เป็นแค่การ preview
ไดโอเพียงชิ้นเดียวเท่านั้น ที่ผมลองถ่ายด้วยกล้องดิจิท่อลตอนกลางคืนในห้องนอน เพราะ
คุณอาร์ท อินสตรั้คเต้อร์ คนทำเขาแนะนำว่าให้ถ่ายออกมาให้เหมือนตอนกลางคืน
โมรถฮัมเบ้อร์ที่นายพลมอนตี้นั่งนั้นได้มาโดยการซื้อบนเว็บนี้เองครับ ส่วนชุดฟิกเก้อร์
4 ตัวหน้าคาเฟ่ของมาสเตอร์บ๊อกซ์ผมสั่งมาเอง คุณอาร์ทฯ ไม่รู้หามาจากไหนมาเพิ่มให้

05 กล้องดิจิท่อลนี่มันถ่ายยากจริงๆ ครับ ถ่ายตั้งเกือบ 30 รูป พอดูได้เพียง 10-11
รูปเท่านั้น นอกนั้นเบลอร์หมด แต่ไดโออันนี้ถ้าถ่ายตอนกลางวันด้วยกล้องฟิล์ม ก็คงไม่ได้

ท่าน MM ลองใช้ขาตั้งกล้องช่วย ภาพน่าจะชัดกว่านี้ แต่ถ้าใช้ขาตั้งกล้องแล้วยังไม่ชัด
อาจจะเป็นที่ตอนกด shutter ก็ลองใช้ mode timer ช่วยให้กล้องถ่ายเอง เพื่อที่จะได้
ไม่สั่นเวลากด shutter
สำหรับภาพผมคิดว่า scene ตอนกลางคืนแบบไม่ใช้แฟลช จะดูได้บรรยากาศสมจริง
มากกว่าครับ
สำหรับการให้แสงลอง ปรับตำแหน่งแสงที่ส่องอีกนิดนะครับ เนื่องจากกลุ่มคนยืนอยู่
ใต้โคมไฟ ทั้งที่หน้าร้านและเสาไฟ หากจะลองย้ายเสาไฟมาด้านหน้า ทางซ้ายของฉาก
จะทำให้แสงมีความสมจริงกว่าแสงไฟในปัจจุบันที่ให้แสงสาดเข้าด้สนหน้าคนแต่โคม

ผมชอบแบบไม่ใช้แฟลซครับเพราะแสงไม่จ้ามาก ปรกติผมถ่ายก็ไม่ใช้แฟลซครับ คือ
กลัวมันหลอกตา ครับ
ลองปรับรูรับแสงให้ต่ำลงครับแล้วลองเอาไฟสาดไปเฉพาะจุดที่เราต้องการเน้นดูครับ
มันจะให้ให้ด้านที่แสงน้อยดูมืดได้อารมครับ แห่ๆ ผมก็ไม่ชำนาญครับก็ลองเล่นๆดูเช่นกันครับพี่

ขอบคุณมากครับสำหรับคำแนะนำ ตกลงผมถ่ายจริงไปแล้วละเมื่อเช้านี้ประมาณ 9.30-10.30
ตะวันยังไม่สูงมาก แดดกำลังดี โดยไดโอชุดนี้ถ่ายในร่ม แทนที่จะถ่ายกลางแดดเหมือนตัวอื่นๆ
เสียดายที่ไม่มีขาตั้ง ความชัดลึกจึงไม่มี ได้แค่ f4 - f5.6 ที่ 1/60 และ 1/30 เท่านั้น แต่ในเพจใหม่
ก็จะเอาภาพพวกนี้ที่ไม่ใช้แฟลชลงไว้ด้วยเพื่อเป็นการเปรียบเทียบ และให้ได้บรรยากาศอีกแบบนึง

พี่ MM ครับ เวลาถ่ายภาพโมเดลนะครับ
1. ใช้ขาตั้งกล้อง
2. ใช้รูรับแสงแคบสุด ประมาณ f11 หรือ f16 สำหรับงานที่ต้องการเห็นรายละเอียดมุมกว้าง
และใช้รูรับแสงกว้างสุด ประมาณ f2.8 (หรือตัวเลขน้อยสุดของกล้องพี่) สำหรับงานที่ถ่าย
macro (ถ่ายใกล้ๆ)
3. ความเร็วชัตเตอร์จะแปลผันตามไปเอง ถ้าต้องปรับจะเข้าใจครับว่า มันจะลดลงเหลือราวๆ
1/60 หรือน้อยกว่านั้นเมื่อแสงน้อย จึงต้องใช้ "ขาตั้งกล้อง" ไงครับ
4. ถ้าถ่ายช่วงกลางวัน แนะนำให้หากระดาษไขมาบังด้านที่แสงเข้า แสงจะนุ่มขึ้นครับ
เป็นคำแนะนำเล็กๆน้อยๆจากช่างภาพครับ

ขอบคุณท่าน มากครับ คิดว่าคงจะต้องหาขาตั้งมาไว้ใช้แล้ว แต่ปกติมันก็ไม่จำเป็นเพราะถ่าย
กลางแดด ด้วยความเร็ว 1 ใน 60 ส่วนหน้ากล้องอัตโนมัติ ประมาณ 11 ถึง 22 แล้วแต่แสงแดด
เจอช่างภาพตัวจริงแล้ว ไม่ทราบว่าเคยใช้กล้อง Canon S2 IS ไหมครับ? มันหาโฟกัสยากจัง

ที่เห็นนี่เป็นการทดลองถ่ายครับคุณหนุ่ม-ลำพูน ในเว็บจะดีกว่านี้เพราะใช้กล้องฟิล์ม ผมไม่คุ้น
กับกล้องดิจิท่อลจริงอย่างว่า มันถ่ายยาก หากโฟกัสยากมาก ถ่ายออกมาแล้วใช้ไม่ได้กว่าครึ่ง
คุณ savento ครับ ผมเคยมีขาตั้งกล้อง แต่มันเจ๊งไปนานแล้ว สงสัยต้องไปหาซื้อมาใหม่แล้ว

พี่ MM ผมก็ใช้กล้องดิจิตอลเหมือนกัน แต่ไม่ใช่ระบบกันภาพสั่น มันเป็นแต่เตือนภาพสั่น
เวลาถ่ายรูปมาเลยเบลอเหมือนกัน หลงเสียเวลาอยู่นาน เลยพบทางสว่าง ด้วยขาตั้งกล้อง

ขอบคุณครับ ลุงหมี ผมคงต้องหาขาตั้งมาไว้ใช้สักอันแล้ว แต่อันละร้อยกว่าสงสัยจะวางกล้อง
SLR ไม่ไหวครับ กล้องมันหนัก ปกติผมใช้ SLR เป็นหลักในการทำเว็บครับ ส่วนดิจิท่อลเอาไว้

บางอันก็เป็นฉากของมินิอาร์ทที่สั่งซื้อมาครับ บางอันเช่นร้านกาแฟในฉาก After The War
เขาทำขึ้นเอง บางอันอย่างเช่นอันนี้เขาดัดแปลงมาจากชิ้นส่วน Park Gate และฉากอื่นๆ ของ
มินิอาร์ทครับ ฉากของมินิอาร์ทจะเป็นพลาสติคแข็ง (แวคคั่มฟอร์ม) สองด้าน หน้า-หลังประกบกัน
ซึ่งจะมีรอยต่อ ลบยาก คุณอาร์ทฯ เขาเลยใช้มันเป็นแบบหล่อปูนพลาสเตอร์ออกมา ซึ่งจะลบรอย
ต่อได้ง่ายกว่า ที่สำคัญคือต้นฉบับเก็บไว้ใช้หล่อได้เรื่อยๆ ครับ อย่างฉาก Ukrainian Village
House ซึ่งทำไปแล้วกับ T-70 ก็สามารถหล่อออกมาทำใหม่ได้อีกครับถ้าต้องการ
ขณะนี้เขากำลังทำฉากล่าสุดจากมินิอาร์ท คือ French Farm Gate + ICM French Campaign
อยู่ครับ อีกไม่นานก็จะเสร็จแล้ว
ภาพนี้คือ Ukrainian Village House ครับ

No too bad. The weathering is inconsistent as usual. Nice clean tracks
with dirt and mud on the hull bottom and sides. At least part of the vision
blocks are painted on this one. He still missed the driver's vision blocks.
Lack of attention to detail due to a rushed job as usual.
By the way, it is not just an M113A1, but an Australian M113A1 MRV (Medium
Recon Vehicle).
An M113A1 is simply a Vietnam-era M113 personnel carrier without the turret.

I think it is a Scorpion turret on top. It was a later version used by the Australian army.
They had an earlier version with a Saladin turret on it.
Old style M113A1 FSV (Fire Support Vehicle) used in Vietnam.
Tamiya did it in kit form too.

It is a Scorpion turret.
It's a refinement of the earlier version which was fitted with a Saladin turret (and which
saw action in Vietnam). In Australian service, Saladin turreted units are/were designated
"FSV's" (Fire Support Vehicles) and the Scorpion turreted units "MRV's" (Medium
Reconnaissance Vehicles) At the present time these vehicles have been withdrawn
from active service and are in storage.

We had them mounted on the the AVGP Cougar. Men I hated those! During my
apprentice course, I was day dreaming during a pull back test and got smack right in
the head by the ordnance!
(you insert a tool in the barrel and with a chain and hoist simulate a recoil, then let go
suddenly, and you want to examine the ordnance coming back forward under nitrogene
pressure)
Lucky for me, they where out of the system when I did my latest course

CJ95, these are short-range AA missiles. What you should fear more is the SA-2 missiles.
I have 2 on trailer and 2 on launcher, plus one HQ-2 (Chinese SA-2) on trailer built. Still have
2 more SA-2 on launcher unbuilt.

That's one dead TC and driver.
The guys on the ground have targets. That means they are in range of enemy fire. The TC
is fully exposed to return fire and the driver's looking to be the recipient of a head shot.
Also, the tracks are on backwards.

I agree the guy in the turent needs to be down or he is a dead, as far as a clean floor.
It looks ok to me it could be an area that has seen no action for a few weeks or months
and rain can move dirt and such.
It looks dirty just not bad enough for a battle thats been going on
I went to you web site and look at all the pics, I didn't even notice the guys behind the
other wall till I did

And the musette bags are on a roll. Art Instructor seems to be getting a little sloppy lately.
Not a bad dio, just some almost too obvious mistakes. The Sherman could use a bit more
kit as well.

the other thing i noticed is if the soldier were to fire the shoulder fired weapon the backblast
from it would be hitting the tank. doubt any damage to the tank but not a very good postion
to be firing from.

Ill start by saying its an amazing diorama, makes me want to try an urban scene. Anyways,
ill admit that I dont know a whole lot about comabt of any sort, but what let you guys know that
they are in range of enemy fire and have targets as ajlafleche said? Yes they are looking
down the sights of their weapons and look ready to fire, but not necesarily in combat. Maybe
they are just getting ready for a battle, and are waiting while the TC scouts the area. Like I said,
I admit I dont know much, I was just wondering what made you think this. Again, beautiful
work on the diorama, whether its accurate or not.
--EDIT-- after viewing the extra photos, I noticed the mortar team about to fire on the other
side of the wall. So jsut ignore my question from above.

OK, the TC and driver may be dead. In fact, thousands of them died in WWII. But I believe
they fought more bravely than some of you guys thought. After all, everyone who went to
war were subject to enemy's fire, not just the TC and driver, but all the support teams too.
But were they afraid? I don't think so. They're human warriors, not frightened turtles who
retract their heads into their shells. By suggesting that the TC and driver should act like
the turtles, I think you're insulting your compatriot granddaddies!

I've never claimed he makes perfect dio's. So there's always something to be desired and
he could have done better had he spent more time.

Oh please. Don't start spouting off again. You have no idea how brave any of them were.
Some of us have been to combat and have survived and can relate. Your comments are
insulting to anyone who has ever been in the military. Being "turtles" and hiding in a tank
and following prescribed tactics by taking cover from enemy fire so you can live and fight
another day are two different things. I can tell you have never even been in the military or
you would know the difference.
And as usual, you can not accept any criticism on your bought models. Just accept that
people are going to tell you what they see is wrong with them and you will be much happier.
Instead of posting stupid replies like above, a simple, "O.K., I'll let Art Instructor know about
them," will suffice.
Your last two sentances are the most intelligent and most revealing out of the whole post.

Wait, didn't you recently post that this guy quit his full-time job to become a full-time builder.
Look, I've got only one thing to say. Back when I first joined this forum, it was cool seeing
your posts. In fact, its still cool, simply because Art Instructor builds them so fast and its a
good opportunity to see a built up kit.
Having said that, here's what I'd like to add:
In the last year, you've made many posts with many models that ALL LOOK THE SAME.
Does this guy only know how to use one shade of green to paint, and one shade of brown to
weather? I appreciate the fact that at the LEAST now you reply back, which is something you
neglected to do before. I think it brave of you to finally do that.
As for the dio, again, it looks no better than the 10 last ones you posted. You are paying
this guy money to do this for you. He does a decent job, but always misses a few small
details. Ultimately, if you take our criticism, and reiterate it back to him, and have him
implement at least some changes, its a decision that is GOOD FOR YOU, since you are
using your money, and will get a better product for your money.

first off no one is saying "art instructor " has done a horrible job. just pointing out
inaccuracies is all. I for one appreciate the fact when peole tell me what I have done
wrong or something could have been done better. The next time i build i try to do it
the right way or a more logical way.
secondly i am a veteran of the 101st ABD. I had never served in combat and i am
lucky for that. there are plenty of brave men and woman who have served in a combat
zone and unfortunately have not returned home. My Drill Instructor once asked our
platoon who was not afraid to serve in combat. I would say only a hand full of us did
not raise our hands. He then told our platoon at least he knows who is not a liar in his
platoon. His point being anyone in his or her right mind is afraid of being killed. and
those who say they are not afraid are either lying or not playing with a full deck of cards.
This does not mean that those who have some sort of fear are not brave. I am sure once
those who are in a combat situation and are afraid it disapates very quickly and there
training kicks in and are as brave as anyone else in the fight.
and no one on this board is insulting any of our brothers who served before us. to say
they did there job by keeping there heads down is correct it kept them alive to fight
another day. sorry to go on like this but as most veterans will tell you we are all brothers
and if you were never in that brotherhood it is something hard to understand.

I agree with KooWilliams.
A night scene would have been perfect. Hard to shoot though, you will need to light it
properly and the camera has to have capabilities to shoot on slow shutter speed and
apeture settings.
The brick work painting must have been horrendous for you. Pretty good. Nice composition
also.

Yesterday I shoot it again with SLR camera during daytime outdoor but under the shade
(not in direct sunlight like other pieces). Still the outcome is not so good. I really need a
tripod so that I can do time exposure and get better results!

Interesting action dio by A.I. Personally I enjoy A.I.'s non-combat dios more coz somehow
they feel like they have a bit more detail. Just a feeling.
A very tiny observation, there is a seam line on the hand of the guy loading the mortar
shell in the 2nd. photo. I have the same problem as well and it only comes out in the photos
when I'm finished my dio. Can be quite frustrating. These flash on the seam line really drive
me nuts especially when I've already fixed the figure to the base.
Nicely drybrushed wall.

เอ ทำไมภาษาไทยของผมกลายเป็นภาษาขอมไปได้? เป็นความไม่เข้ากันของ Notepad ของ Win'98 กับ
Notepad ของ Win XP อันหลังมันอ่านภาษาไทยจากอันแรกไม่ออก แปลกจริงๆ

ภาษาไทยผมพิมพ์ด้วย Notepad ของ Win'98 แล้ว copy มาโพสต์ในเครื่อง Win XP ครับ
เดิมทีก็ไม่มีปัญหา เพิ่งมีคราวนี้ ไม่รู้เป็นอะไรครับ แต่ไม่ใช่ปัญหาใหญ่อะไร ถ้าเขียนเข้าตรงๆ
ก็ไม่มีปัญหาครับ
